PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® training courses.

PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® training courses are aimed at physiotherapists and doctors; seminars are also open to other specific health figures. PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® training courses are accredited by the E.C.M. Commission of the Ministry of Health and provide E.C.M. formative credits in line with the D.L. 12/30/92 n. 502 for continuing education in medicine. ECM credits for physiotherapists are provided for the entire PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® training program. At the end of each course after having successfully passed the practical E.C.M. exam the PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® training certificate is released with the specification of the course attended (Universal Reformer or matwork etc.). The complete training format foresees attending the basic course and subsequently the advanced courses. The advanced courses can be frequented individually or all together in the “complete advanced course” module. The courses can be organized as internal staff training upon request from public or private healthcare structures, associations, etc. with customizable times and methods.

Basic Course

“The evolution of Pilates in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation: PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® matwork and small tools course, basic, intermediate and advanced level”.The basic course is a necessary requirement to access each of the advanced courses individually or the complete advanced course including all advanced courses. The basic course kit includes the small tools, teaching materials and the book: “PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® – Matwork and small tools – Professional manual for physiotherapists” written by PT Silvia Raneri and published by Piccin Nuova Libraria.

Advanced Courses

The advanced training courses aim to train physiotherapists specialized in the PILATES FISIOS metodo Sivia Raneri® to enable them to use the technique in the rehabilitative treatment of orthopedic and neurological patients with highly professional competence. At the end of the entire advanced training format, the physiotherapist will be able to use therapeutically the PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® technique, also with the use of equipments (Universal Reformer, Rehabilitation Table, Step Barrel, Ladder Barrel, Chair). The course aims to encourage in candidates the practical experimentation of the technique and to promote its use in different rehabilitative areas and in scientific research. Within each module, further space will be dedicated to the theoretical and practical study of the application of the technique in the rehabilitative treatment of specific pathologies: pathologies of the spine (neck pain, low back pain, arthrosis, spondylolisthesis, stenosis, osteoporosis, pre and post- surgery, scoliosis) Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, functional re-education post-oncological breast surgery; functional pathologies of the upper quadrant and of the lower quadrant with elaboration of rehabilitation protocols for each pathology. At the end of the advanced format, the students should present a written paper (thesis) on a clinical case treated by the candidate with the use of the PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® technique or with another title based on the technique itself.
The advanced modules, specific for one or more equipments, are the following:
– Pilates Fisios UNIVERSAL REFORMER
– Pilates Fisios REHABILITATION TABLE (CADILLAC)
– Pilates Fisios LADDER BARREL & STEP BARREL
– Pilates Fisios CHAIR
Each module is complete in itself and allows the development of a gradual rehabilitation treatment. Knowing more equipments and exercises allows physiotherapist to expand and deepen the technique.

Full training – Expert in therapeutic Pilates

Expert in PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® is an educational project that aims to train professionals in the rehabilitation area in therapeutic Pilates. The format includes the basic course and all the advanced courses. At the end of the educational format, the student, after passing the evaluation test, should to prepare a written paper on a clinical case treated with PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® using both matwork, small tools and equipment exercises that should be send to the teacher: if the student is considered eligible will receive the PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® Expert Physiotherapist certificate which certifies the learning of the complete technique. This training project has been specifically designed to provide physiotherapists with a complete, in-depth and exhaustive knowledge of the Pilates technique as a therapeutic tool in order to be able to use it in the rehabilitative treatments of major diseases from the acute phase to the maintenance phase.

Workshops

The workshops are short thematic courses on the integration of the PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® technique in the rehabilitation of certain pathologies. They are held during the year and it is not necessary to have attended the basic course to participate:

Seminars

Thematic seminars are generally open to everybody and have the aim of spreading the PILATES FISIOS metodo Silvia Raneri® technique to improve awareness of self-consciousness and the own body in movement.
